SUMMARY:Cheer Camp
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to offer Cheer Camp here at Silver Spur Resort! We will be working with Stepz All-Star Gym to include professional instructors and an overall high-quality cheer camp experience. Camp admission will include lunch each day and a chance to win an AirTrack (more than $200 value). This camp will offer much more than just cheerleading. Some of the extra activities will include: basketball\, volleyball\, fishing\, nerf wars\, water balloon fights\, yard-games and so much more! With the cheerleading\, we will offer professional instruction on stunting\, tumbling\, cheering\, dance\, voice projection and overall technique. We will also have some special guest instructors. \nDetails\nThe camp will be open for school age kids grades Kindergarten-12th graders. There will be two groups: Youth Campers (incoming K-3rd grade) and Junior Campers (4th-12th grade). We will offer the choice of day campers or overnight stay. Overnight campers will have the opportunity to experience even more fun activities and will also be served dinner & breakfast. Campers may choose a sleepover in the climate-controlled barn with sleeping bags or and overnight stay in a cabin/house. Overnight campers will have adult supervision and there are a limited number of spots available. \nPrice\n\nDay Camp (2-day session): $99\nDay Camp + Barn sleepover: $125\nDay Camp + Cabin/House sleepover: $150\n\nRegistration Deadline\nRegister by Friday\, May 17th to receive a t-shirt and cheer bow included in your camp admission. DESCRIPTION:NRA’s Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) provides a fun environment for kids 18 and under to improve their hunting\, marksmanship and safety skills. \nYHEC Details\nDate: Wednesday\, June 26th \nSchedule: \n1:00pm-4:00pm: Open questions and open archery practice/instruction. Sponsored by NWTF (FREE to public) \n5:00pm-8:00pm: YHEC Competition ($10 registration fee) Great prizes and raffles! \nAges: \nWe will have two age groups that will be competing: \nAges 9 – 13 \nAges 14 – 18 \nYHEC Competition\nAll competition skills will be graded on a point system for correct answers/archery scores. \nThe cumulative competition skills will be: \nHunter Safety Trail- Demonstrate your skills in safe firearm handling\, fence safety shoot/don’t shoot\, zones of fire and more. \nWildlife Identification– Test your knowledge of animals identification through flash cards\, pictures\, mounts and more. \nArchery- Participants will shoot at targets at short distance and long distances to achieve a cumulative score. \nPut Your Skills to the Test!\nOur Outdoor Adventure Camp may cover some of these skills and campers are encouraged to register for the competition!
