Have SMOKIN’ BBQ skills that can’t be beaten? Or maybe you are just looking for a fun and friendly competition for a GREAT cause! We have the perfect event for you…Register for Silver Spur Resort’s Smoke & Guns Cook-Off\, an IBCA-sanctioned event on September 12-13th! For official rules\, visit ibcabbq.org. \n \nCook-off Details\nThe entry fee is $200 with  80% Payout\, 50% 1st Place Jackpots\, and 20% donated to the Van Zandt First Responders Fund. Optional add-ons include Steak & Burnt Ends for an additional $30 each (one winner per category). Trophies will be awarded to winners at the conclusion of the BBQ Smoke-off on Saturday\, inside The Barn. See the schedule of turn-in times listed below. \nThe entry fee includes a parking spot with no water/electricity. Full hookup RV sites and cabins are available for an additional fee. Mention the BBQ Competition for discounted rates. Book RV/Lodging by 8/22/25 to receive discount by calling 903-420-1400. Golf carts are welcome. This is a one-day camp\, offered on four different days\, open to kids ages 7-14. Fun camp is jam-packed with water games\, crafts\, and a variety of activities to keep your child entertained all day! Lunch is provided. With so much planned\, there is never a dull moment at Fun Camp! \nDetails:\nCamp runs between the hours of 9:00 am-4:00 pm and lunch will be provided each day.  Please have your child wear their swimsuit to camp\, and bring a towel\, water\, sunscreen\, and a change of clothing. Kids will enjoy outdoor water games\, pool time\, indoor games & board games\, crafts\, fishing\, and homemade ice cream. \nDue to the nature of this camp\, we have a 10-camper minimum and 30-camper maximum for this camp. The deadline to book is 3 days before the camp start date. To request a cancelation\, please notify us 3 days prior to camp start date for a full refund.
