Choose the space that works for you
Did you know, The Barn at Silver Spur Resort has many different ceremony areas on the property? Weddings are not one-size-fits-all around here. Our venue is a blank canvas and we encourage couples to choose the space that best fits their wedding vision. From small, intimate weddings to a party of 250, we have several outdoor spaces you will fall in love with.
Our most popular ceremony sites are down by the scenic pond, and our beautiful new arbor adjacent to the Barn. Couples love it down by the pond because of the beautiful country scenery and landscaping, while the new arbor offers more convenience and privacy for your guests with everything in one spot. We’ve also seen small ceremonies inside our Barnyard gazeebo, outside the front of the Barn, and in front of the arbor outside the Barnyard. The perfect ceremony spot is just a matter of preference and we are thrilled to provide several options to say “I Do!”
Beer & wine tasting
Friends, we are SUPER excited about this one! For the first time, we will have beer & wine tastings at our Bridal Open House (happy dance 💃)! Wine tasting is courtesy of Red 55 Winery, the signature wine line of Miranda Lambert. May we recommend the Platinum Almond Sparkling? It’s perfect for getting ready with your bridal party, or for your wedding toast! Want to take a few bottles home? You’ll find a great selection of Red 55 wines to purchase inside the Q & Brew, or our General Store!
Beer lovers, we have a treat for you! Our brewmaster will have samples of our Bavarian Hef on tap for you to try. The Q & Brew is Van Zandt County’s first brewery, located right here at Silver Spur Resort. If you like your beer sample, there’s plenty more where that came from! Stop by the Q & Brew for a flight and a bite to eat before you leave. We offer a great selection of Texas BBQ items on our menu!
Our biggest vendor participation yet
Feeling lucky? We said this is the BIGGEST Bridal Open House yet, and we meant it! When you RSVP, we enter you into a raffle for some amazing prizes from our generous vendors. Many couples who are married at Silver Spur Resort choose to celebrate all weekend with their family & friends. Our venue is ideal for those with out-of-town guests, or who want the opportunity to bring all their guests together for a weekend of celebration! Everything you need, from lodging to food, is right here on site.
Our Bridal Open House is a great opportunity to experience ALL the amenities of Silver Spur Resort, and learn about the benefits of a weekend wedding. This is an especially popular option for couples from the Dallas area who want to experience a “destination wedding” without being too far from home.
In addition to our ceremony and reception areas, you’ll be able to tour our Ranch House & Cabins, Escape Room, Stagecoach Hall (an option to host your rehearsal dinner), and the Q & Brew restaurant & brewery!

Q. Is this just for brides?
A. Anyone looking for a venue for their upcoming wedding, or other special event is welcome! Friends, family, and others involved in the planning process are encouraged to come. From our experience, grooms-to-be are very involved in the wedding planning process and enjoy attending venue tours; after all, it’s their big day too! In case you need to sweeten the deal, remind them of the beer tasting and BBQ samples ☺️
Q. What time should I arrive?
A. This event is open-house style, and you are welcome to come anytime between 1-3pm! Don’t forget to check-in with our team inside the Barn upon arrival, we’ll have lots of vendors set up inside. We conduct tours continuously throughout the event, and our event coordinator will be here to answer all your questions and help you reserve your date.
Q. Do I have to be present to win a raffle prize?
A. You do not need to be present to win! Your RSVP automatically enters you into the raffle, and we will announce raffle prizes throughout the event. We’ll contact you to claim your prize if you have already left.
