The Silver Spur Resort began as a dream of a friendly bed and breakfast and glamping destination with down-home southern hospitality. It has blossomed into a full-service resort destination with unparalleled lodging, dining, event, and entertainment offerings. Go behind-the-scenes with us to learn a bit more about our passion for providing the very best family resort experience in East Texas!
Our team is what makes us different. Our tight-knit staff is dedicated to providing an unparalleled guest experience to everyone who walks through our barn doors. Their goal? To give a warm, friendly, and personalized experience to every guest, whether they’re at the Silver Spur Resort for a day or a week, whether it’s their first time or tenth time visiting us.
Whether you’re here as part of a reunion, a wedding, a corporate retreat or just visiting our escape room or the Q & Brew, southern hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. We treat our guests as we would treat our own extended family – so take a stroll, grab a fishing rod, or enjoy some down-home barbecue. We’re here to help you with whatever you need.

Missy has been a leader here at the Resort for several years, with hands-on experience in all areas of campground operations. When asked what she loves most about her job, she said “I love that every day is different and I meet so many cool people from all over this world!” Missy is super friendly, and has that special way of letting our guests know how important they are when visiting. If there is anything you need during your time here, stop by the General Store and Missy will take care of you!
