Camp is from 9:00am-4:00pm each day. Drop the kids off as early as 8:00am and pick up as late as 5:00pm.

Hunters Ed camp will be taught by certified instructors from the Texas Parks and Wildlife. We will have several guest instructors at these camps and will have special appearances from experts in various fields. These camps are a lot of fun and we will have many hands-on learning experiences, games, contests and more. At the conclusion of each camp, campers age 9 and over will have the opportunity to earn their hunters education certification.

Details: Campers must be between the ages of 9-16 as of the first day of camp. This is a two-day camp with lunch provided each day. Campers may enjoy resort activities such as catch and release fishing and yard games during downtime.

Description:

The name says it all…this camp is FULL of FUN! This is a one-day camp, offered on four different days, open to kids ages 7-13. Fun camp is jam-packed with water games, crafts, and a variety of activities to keep your child entertained all day! Lunch is provided. With so much planned, there is never a dull moment at Fun Camp!

Details:

Camp runs between the hours of 9:00 am-4:00 pm and lunch will be provided each day. You may drop your child(ren) off between the hours of 8:00 am-9:00 am and pick up between the hours of 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. Please have your child wear their swimsuit to camp, and bring a towel, water, sunscreen, and a change of clothing.

Jr. Fire Camp Dates:

Session 1: June 25th

Details: This is a one-day camp from 8:30 am-2 pm for kids ages 7-12.

Your child will review stop, drop, and roll, water safety in the pool, building a safe fire and putting out fires, some search and rescue, basic first aid, learn about tools and gear on the truck, team-building exercises, and other fun learning games.

Lunch and drinks are provided. Due to the nature of this camp, we will require a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 kids. Please have your child wear shorts or jeans and tennis shoes. Bring leather gloves, knee pads, a swimsuit, a towel, goggles, and sunscreen. Campers will meet in the Barn upon arrival.

Baking Camp Info:

Ages: 7-9

June 19, 20, & 21

Price: $80 

Details:
This is a one-day camp from 9 am-3 pm for kids ages 7-9, led by Abby Cox, The Kneady Woman! This camp will focus on basic baking skills and the importance of food handling safety, with an emphasis on baking and decorating cookies!

During breaks, campers will be able to enjoy various activities at the resort. Lunch is provided. Please drop off and pick up at Durham’s Roost Ranch House, located at the entrance of Silver Spur Resort. No previous experience is needed for this class! Bring an apron, your enthusiasm, and your love of baking!

Due to the nature of this camp, we have a 10-camper minimum and a 12-camper maximum for attendance.

This is a two-day camp from 9 am-3 pm for kids ages 10-13, led by Abby Cox, The Kneady Woman! This camp will focus on making homemade bread! This is a hands-on learning experience for all campers throughout the camp.
