Virtual Bridal Open House
Welcome to our Virtual Bridal Open House! The Barn at the Silver Spur Resort hosts a Bridal Open House twice a year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. When our April 5th, 2020 open house was canceled due to the Coronavirus shutdown, our team got creative. We knew we needed a way to bring our venue experience to couples at home. Many couples who have weddings booked at The Barn were still in the process of choosing their vendors, engaged couples were still reaching out to learn more about our venue, and some brides just wanted to feel excited about planning their wedding again. Our team felt it was important to let couples know that we are still here to help. That we care about them, are excited about their upcoming weddings, and that we are looking forward to celebrating with them as soon as we can. So, we reached out to our preferred vendors who immediately jumped on board, and we brought our open house online!
On April 19th, we hosted our Virtual Bridal Open House on a Facebook Event. Brides, grooms, friends and family, vendors, and members of the Silver Spur Resort team spent two hours chatting online. Starting with introductions, we led participants through our open house with a venue tour, answering frequently asked questions, preferred vendor services, wedding inspiration, and ended with our usual bridal show giveaway. Our favorite part of the open house was hearing from brides (and grooms!) how much fun they had and how much it meant to feel connected in this way.
Tour The Barn at the Silver Spur Resort
Join us on a virtual tour of The Barn wedding venue! You will notice that the Silver Spur Resort is more than just a venue, it is an experience. Yes, we do have a beautiful barn venue on-site, but we have so much more to offer. From on-site lodging to escape rooms to a restaurant and brewery, your wedding party and guests will have plenty of amenities to choose from.

Ceremonies by the Pond
Take in the beautiful country scenery in a peaceful location by the pond. This outdoor area is our most popular ceremony option and can seat up to 300 guests.

Rustic Barn Reception
Our Barn has plenty of space to party! We can even bring your ceremony inside if the weather isn’t in your favor on wedding day! This climate-controlled space has everything you need, including a catering room for your buffet-style reception dinner, a bride’s room, and bathrooms. The Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 275 guests seated. Our team can help you arrange a floor plan with a dance floor and bar for 150-200 guests. Outdoor options are available to help accommodate a guest count over 250. Contact our team to discuss how we can help!
New Extension to our Barn
Last year, we added a new area outside the Barn to give your celebration a more intimate feel. Couples have used this space as a ceremony area, to host a cocktail hour, additional reception space, and a beautiful spot for sparkler send-offs.
