Timing is everything in relationships. We are all constantly growing and evolving, which means that sometimes the right person, just isn’t the right person… yet!
That’s exactly what happened with Jason and Shannon. They met through a mutual friend, and the timing was just perfect. Any earlier in their lives and they wouldn’t have been ready for each other. It’s their own personal inside joke.

Why the Silver Spur Resort?
Jason and Shannon are local. They loved the idea that the resort was so close to their home and that they’d have tons of options in lodging for their guests. Once they actually visited us, they knew they’d found the right fit.
The lodging was why they checked out the Silver Spur, but the overall aesthetic, decorations, staff, and vendors are what made it perfect for their day.
The Staff Made the Day!
No matter how many questions they had, they knew that Misty had the answers. Big or small and at any time she was available to put their fears at ease. What is known to be a super stressful process was made easy and enjoyable because of all the work the staff put in to make them feel comfortable.
The reception location was gorgeous but the staff truly made their day special.
Why Was Your Wedding Magical?
Jason and Shannon had a ton of help from family on the day. Everyone wanted to be involved and help make sure that the event was perfect all the way around. That being said, it would have been a completely different experience without Tori Jean Photography and Ashley Zwick of Tease to Please Hair and Makeup.
All of the vendors were amazing but these two, in particular, went above and beyond to make the day perfect. Tori and Ashley made our bride feel beautiful and made sure she was happy with everything they did. These two vendors wanted to be sure that everything went off without a hitch and they delivered.
What Advice Would You Give to Other Newlyweds?
Shannon had some great advice for couples on their wedding day. Don’t stress about the things that don’t go as planned. There will always be something that doesn’t go perfectly, but when you look back on your day, you aren’t going to remember the things that went wrong.
When you look back on your wedding day, the only thing you’ll remember is how amazing it was. Leave the stress behind and just enjoy being in the moment, it goes by fast.
