Sourdough 101: A Beginner’s Guide to Baking Real Bread
Join us for our Sourdough 101 class, a hands-on class designed for beginners who want to learn the art of traditional sourdough baking! In this interactive session, you’ll discover how to create delicious, homemade sourdough bread from scratch.
Our expert instructor, Abby, will guide you through:
Understanding and maintaining a sourdough starter
Mixing, kneading, and shaping dough by hand
The fermentation process and why patience is key
Baking tips for achieving the perfect crust and crumb
By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to bake your own sourdough at home and take home a starter to continue your journey!

Cost: $35/pp (includes all materials and take-home starter)
More details: This is a beginner class designed for all ages (12 and older.) This class would also be good for those who have taken the class before and have specific questions or would like more hands-on experience. Our instructor will meet you where you are in your learning process. Please bring an apron, notebook and pen, medium-sized mixing bowl, and digital kitchen scale (optional). Due to the nature of this class, there is an 8-person minimum and 14-person maximum. The deadline to book is Friday, March 28th.
