The name says it all…this camp is FULL of FUN! This is a one-day camp, offered on four different days, open to kids ages 7-14. Fun camp is jam-packed with water games, crafts, and a variety of activities to keep your child entertained all day! Lunch is provided. With so much planned, there is never a dull moment at Fun Camp!

Details:

Camp runs between the hours of 9:00 am-4:00 pm and lunch will be provided each day.  Please have your child wear their swimsuit to camp, and bring a towel, water, sunscreen, and a change of clothing. Kids will enjoy outdoor water games, pool time, indoor games & board games, crafts, fishing, and homemade ice cream.

Jr. Fire Camp Dates:

Date: June 26th

Details: This is a one-day camp from 9:00 am-2:00 pm for kids ages 7-12.

Your child will review stop, drop, and roll, water safety in the pool, building a safe fire and putting out fires, some search and rescue, basic first aid, learn about tools and gear on the truck, team-building exercises, and other fun learning games.

Lunch and drinks are provided. Due to the nature of this camp, we will require a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 kids. Please have your child wear shorts or jeans and tennis shoes. Bring leather gloves, knee pads, a swimsuit, a towel, goggles, and sunscreen. Campers will meet in the Barn upon arrival.

Registration closes June 23rd. To request a cancelation, please notify us by June 23rd for a full refund. Requests made after this time frame will be given a credit to put toward another summer camp this year.

Creative Chefs- Cooking Camp Info:

There are 4 dates available- a June camp and a July camp for each age range. Campers will take home recipe cards at the end of each camp so they can make their creations at home!

Details:
This is a one-day camp from 9 am-3 pm, led by Abby Cox, The Kneady Woman! This camp will focus on basic cooking skills and the importance of food handling safety. Each camp will offer a different menu that the kids will be making (and eating!) during camp.

During breaks, campers will be doing crafts and/or indoor activities. Please drop off and pick up at Durham’s Roost Ranch House, located at the entrance of Silver Spur Resort. No previous experience is needed for this class! Bring an apron, your enthusiasm, and your love of cooking!

Summer Stitches Camp Info:

Details:
This is a one-day camp from 9 am-4 pm. Campers learn crochet and quilting basics in a fun, relaxed environment. Children will learn to operate a basic sewing machine and will leave with a completed quilted square & a crocheted granny square to kick-start them on their crafting journey! With a focus on creative expression and problem-solving, campers will be encouraged to design their own projects, nurturing both their artistic talents and self-esteem.

Perfect for beginners and those with experience in the crafts. Beyond crafting, this camp emphasizes teamwork and friendship, providing plenty of opportunities for campers to share ideas, collab on group projects & celebrate each other’s creativity.

Please drop off and pick up at Stagecoach Hall at the Silver Spur Resort. Lunch and a snack is included.

This is a one-day camp from 9 am-4 pm. The morning session will be painting with Rebecca from the Art Parlor and the afternoon session will be various craft projects including nature collaging, scrapbooking, graham cracker house building & decorating, and salt-dough Christmas ornament making.

Beats & Beyond- Music Camp Info:

Half- Day Camp Details:

The half-day camp on June 11th will focus on singing and songwriting! This camp explores everything you need to know to start writing your own music. Designed for music enthusiasts of all levels to explore the world of music in a fun environment with a local guest musician.

Full- Day Camp Details:

The full-day camp is a dynamic summer camp where creativity, learning & fun come together! Designed for music enthusiasts of all levels to explore the world of music in a fun environment.  Activities include musical games, rhythm activities using a variety of instruments, making our own musical instruments, AND we will even have a local guest musician come in to demonstrate and help us compose our own camp song! 

Please drop off and pick up at Stagecoach Hall at the Silver Spur Resort. Lunch will be provided during this camp.

Survival Skills Camp Info:

There are 2 dates available- a one-day camp for ages 9-13 and an overnight camp for ages 14-18.

One- Day Camp Details:

This camp is for boys and girls ages 9-13. Camp begins at 1:00pm on June 20th and ends at 10:00pm the same day. Campers will experience outdoor skills such as: building a campfire, learning to cook outside, a fun scavenger hunt using map & compass navigation, team-building activities, swimming, fishing & Paddle boating. This camp will be set up outside.  In case of rain, we will set up camp in the barn.

Campers will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow (bedding must be in a trash bag), a flashlight, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, water, swimsuit and towel, wading boots, or extra pair of tennis shoes that can get wet. Campers must wear closed-toed shoes to camp.

Dinner and S’mores will be provided. Meet at the Barn at Silver Spur Resort for drop off and pick up.  There is a 10-person minimum and 30-person maximum for this camp.

Overnight Camp Details:

This camp is for boys and girls ages 14-18. Camp begins at 1:00pm on June 6th and ends at 1:00pm on June 7th. Campers will experience outdoor skills such as: building a campfire, learning to cook outside, a fun scavenger hunt using map & compass navigation, team-building activities, swimming, fishing & Paddle boating. This camp will be set up outside.  In case of rain, we will set up camp in the barn.
