Rent out the Entire Durham’s Roost Ranch House
This is an excellent option for larger groups. Durham’s Roost features a number of rooms, including 2 doubles, 1 queen, 2 kings, 2 twins, and rollaway beds available upon request. With four private bathrooms and 2800 square feet, there’s enough space for everyone.
If you’re looking for a family getaway with all the amenities of home, Durham’s Roost has everything you need! Our spacious rooms feature comfortable furniture and walk-in closets that are perfect for an extended stay. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine with the comfort of your loved ones on the outdoor deck, surrounded by beautiful Resort views. Or, take a break and relax in the comfort of your bedroom.
Many people rent out the entire Durham’s Roost for extended family vacations, church retreats, bachelorette parties, wedding weekends, and family reunions. It’s fun to have everyone together but there’s also plenty of space for privacy and quiet time, too.

Our cozy cabins are a perfect choice for a couple or a smaller family. Kids love the cabin experience – it’s like they’re living in the “olden times” but with the modern amenities of today, including comfortable furniture and a kitchenette with a coffee maker. Cabins come with a deck to enjoy the view, and the amenities of the resort are just a short walk away.
We decided to design our cabins without TVs in them – many of our guests were seeking an “unplugged” vacation, especially for their kids. Our cabins allow you to live life in the moment!

Test out a Tiny House for the First Time
Have you seen those TV shows about Tiny House living? Well, here’s your chance to try it out. We have two adorable Tiny Houses available at the Resort. They have a sleeping loft with a Queen mattress, a roomy shower, a kitchenette, and a cozy living area. You’ll be surprised at how much “house” is inside! Our Tiny Houses are near the cabins and each has a small deck with a shade structure so you can enjoy the outdoors.
Really, really love Tiny House living? The Tiny Houses you stay in at the Silver Spur can be built for you – you can even place your order during your stay. Reserve a Space at the Canton KOA at Silver Spur Resort
Have your own RV or camper and ready to visit us? The Canton KOA at the Silver Spur Resort has 100 spaces available for you.
Enjoy our Deluxe RV Pull-Throughs, which include a fire pit, grill, outdoor furniture, water, 20/30/50 electric, and sewage. You’ll have enough patio space to stretch out after your voyage and the site also can accommodate a 2-3 person tent. There’s plenty of room for the whole family!
We also have our Standard RV Pull-Through, which is our most popular request for campers. These come with a patio and picnic table. Fire rings are available on the property on a first-come, first-serve basis. Spend the evening relaxing around a warm glow or the ever-popular s’mores session!
Needing another option? We also offer our Full Hookup 50 AMP Back-in; Ideal for campers, pop-ups, vans, and tents!
If you’re looking for something that’s a step up from the standard tent site, our Deluxe Tent Sites are now available. Complete with a tent platform, electronics charging station, and only a short walk to the bathrooms, these sites are a great option for the primitive camper looking for just a few basic amenities.
Want a “Glamping” Experience?
The Conestoga Wagons at our resort offers a one-of-a-kind glamping experience in a cozy, covered wagon. These rustic wagons are equipped with a king-sized bed, bunk beds, and a table and chairs in a climate-controlled environment allowing you to relive the pioneer days in style any time of the year. Our wagons have exclusive access to their own bathhouse and a fire ring for the perfect evening under the Texas stars. (Click here for a virtual tour of our wagons!)
But, wait! It gets even better! Coming in 2022, we are excited to add our Treehouse Village to our glamping repertoire. This adorable village will consist of four custom-built Treehouses to provide you with a fun, whimsical glamping experience that you won’t want to miss out on. Each Treehouse will be slightly different, providing a unique experience each time you stay in the village. The first Treehouse will be completed in February 2022. We can’t wait for you to experience this new type of glamping at Silver Spur Resort!
